Expecting Parents

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Having a child is very rewarding, fun, and exciting. However, it can also be challenging and stressful as they go through various infections, illnesses, and behavioral challenges. It is important to choose a pediatrician who is compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and will take the time to listen to all of your concerns no matter how simple or complex.

We offer complementary prenatal visits for anyone who wishes to meet the staff and see the facility. We address any questions or concerns regarding the pregnancy and discuss what to expect following the delivery of your baby. We also discuss any questions regarding vaccinations, checkups, sick visits, or other concerns.

Lactation Consultants

We work closely with the lactation consultants that work out of Baptist Floyd Memorial and Clark Memorial Hospitals.

Hospitals

We will see newborns at Baptist Floyd Memorial and Clark Memorial hospitals. If you are having a baby at Suburban, Baptist East, or Nortons Hospitals, the neonatal team will see the baby and contact us at the time of discharge regarding the health of the baby. We typically see the infant 2-3 days after being discharged from the hospital. Dr Corba will admit and treat children at Baptist Floyd. Most children will be admitted to Norton Children’s and be followed by their team of pediatricians.
